This can be a stressful or worrisome time for clients, especially if they received a notice that their plan is drastically changed or being removed. Strategize your communication.
Send out a yearly letter or email to all your clients when AEP is about to begin, reminding them that you are their agent and detailing anything they should know about this year’s AEP. Include a few business cards so that they have them and can also give them out to their friends, helping you grow your business through referrals!

Take care of yourself!
You are the most important factor to your success! Take time for a time out and reflect.
Rest: Try your best to get your 8 hours at night. It can be hard to find the time, but when you do, you’ll be ready to hit the ground running!
Make a game plan: Take 30 minutes at the start of your day to organize your to-dos and calendar to help process through what needs to be done. This will help you discover free gaps and plan an effective day.
Balancing work & life: While you might feel like a ring leader at the circus, you must find a happy balance between your career and your life. Your clients are important, but you can’t pour from an empty cup. Focus on being able to switch gears and be present in the moment.
Self-care: Self-care doesn’t have to look like cucumber slices at the spa. It can look like spending 20 minutes with your favorite book, or enjoying your morning coffee before being online. Find moments of peace within the frenzy.
